Solution:
At 1,200 square feet, this model was smaller than the average loft in this
pioneering development in San Franciscos South of Market. We positioned
it as a sportscar unit: snappy and fun, perfect for a young
professional. The budget was minimal, so DesignMesh arranged to trade services
for exposure with a group of Oakland artists: a furniture designer, a glassblower,
and a doll designer, among others. At the time (1991), artisans rarely contributed
to model interiors, so the result was exciting, innovative, and highly successful. longest page |
